NED Solar Seminar Bahria Solar Seminar

With the aggravation of electric supply problems in Karachi, people are struggling to find a way out. The most common coping mechanism for citizens is to purchase portable electricity generators, which have relatively high running costs. Renewable and clean energy sources such as solar energy can help overcome the electricity supply shortage. However, the lack of awareness about solar panels discourages people from pursuing this option. In this regard, IEEEP in collaboration with University Karachi Campus organized a seminar related to solar energy and the topic of discussion was “Photovoltaic the Future of Energy”

This seminar was held on 27^th July, 2009 at the auditorium of Bahria University Karachi Campus. The seminar was followed by the closing ceremony of a three week long workshop on “Small-Scale Solar Module Manufacturing”. This whole event was organized by the Karachi Campus of Bahria University and was held at the auditorium of Bahria university Karachi campus.
