Terms & Conditions

1. Student Authors should be currently enrolled in any program/discipline at an HEC recognized university/institute in Pakistan
2. Maximum three students are allowed (as authors) per paper/poster.
3. Authors should submit papers/posters based on original work. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
4. Any paper/poster found guilty of copying or plagiarism can be pulled out of the seminar.
5. Selection of paper/poster for presentation would be done by a panel of Reviewers.
6. A panel of judges would decide upon the best as winners papers. Decision made by judges would be final and cannot be challenged.
7. For oral presentation audio/visual facilities would be provided. Extra resources (e.g., hardware/software for project demonstration) required by authors, would be responsibility of the author.
8. In case, the author requires any specific software for presentation (other than MS office 2007 version) they should provide it to IEEEP Student Seminar Secretariat, at least 4 days before the seminar
9. In case of poster presentation, a display board would be provided. Poster size should be 4 ft by 3 ft.
10. In case of poster presentation, authors are requested to reach the seminar venue one hour in advance on the day of the seminar.
11. Authors should bring their university/institute ID cards and Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC) on the day of the seminar, if a person fails to produce CNIC and University/Institute ID Cards he/she will not be allowed to enter the venue.
12. Papers submitted to this Contest should not have been published in any other publications yet. If already published, then your paper will be DISQUALIFIED.
13. The paper should provide a well structured, clear and concise presentation of the subject matter including an introduction, the main body and the conclusion with supporting tables and figures, with adequate references.
14. Appendices: Detailed mathematical proofs, development of equations etc. which are subordinate to the main argument in the body of the paper, should be given in the appendices, with reference in the main text.
15. The papers will be judged for the technical content, innovation, practical implementation, references and overall presentation.
16. Your paper’s acceptance will be confirmed to you via emailing. It is your responsibility to check that the dates and facilities listed are correct, and notify us of any error within 3 working days.
